I had hoped to have some stellar post on Saturday since it was technically the final day of #write31days (and, you know…Halloween!)…even though we’re still going on the 31 Day Challenge at My Blissful Space (Read: Because I’m a week behind)! But instead I enjoyed the day with my daughter, got some photos taken for the blog (it was time to update my profile pic…hopefully we can find one to work but we fought the sun a bit), and had some family Halloween fun!
I didn’t get started on Faith’s room Saturday like I’d planned, but finally yesterday…after church and a stop at the home improvement store and lunch…and lots and lots of prep…I managed to get a coat of Kilz on the walls. Small room but two-and-a-half hours due to all the doors and windows that I had to cut-in around. I was so tired after that that I didn’t manage to get started on the actual paint. So this morning, after I type this and enjoy my herbal coffee, I’m off to do more painting! I’m praying that my energy will stay with me today (or that I’ll find it to begin with) so that I can get at least two coats done, and ideally finish it up today. We have Faith’s bedroom furniture scattered around the living room and office/daycare spaces, so it would be really great to have it put back together before I have daycare kids here tomorrow morning!
Off to paint!
