For the month of October, I will be joining the Nester and her bloggy followers to create a 31 day series on various topics of our choice! I know I mentioned here that I was going to do “31 Days to a Better Me” and cover multiple topics, but after reading this post from the Nester I decided to choose one topic and push myself to get creative. When you write about one topic for 31 days you have to get creative!
There were several topics I wanted to write about and narrowing down to one was hard. (Decision making is not my strong suit.) But one thing I’m trying improve within myself is to become a better saver, spend less, and ultimately become more financially independent so that pursuing my dream of organizing (and blogging!) as a career won’t be such a risk. If you’ve felt like too many decisions in your life were limited by your financial situation, join me on this 31 day journey to making positive change!
It won’t be easy, and I won’t be perfect. But I hope to grow in this 31 days, and if I inspire any of you, even better! I’ve been brainstorming specific post topics and am excited for what I will accomplish, learn and share along with you. Not only that, but this will give me a chance to complete and then take a break from projects! Or so I think. I think this is a great time to talk saving money because the holidays are right around the corner. Have you been shopping lately? Anywhere? Yeah, you know what I mean. Let’s start some new habits, create a (financially) stress-free Christmas season, and get a head start on at least this one resolution!
Normally I don’t post on the weekend, but part of this “challenge”, we’ll call it, is to write for all of the 31 days of October, so that’s what I plan to do! Who knows, maybe I’ll decide to make that a regular habit. Or maybe not. We’ll see!
The link-up will actually start the evening of Sept. 30 (which means I have three days to get busy…eek!). Speaking of busy, I hope to have at least one more if not two more furniture reveals for you on Monday! At the rate I’ve been going I think it’s safe to say one.
In the meantime, are there any money saving tips you’re looking for specifically? I could still use some topic inspiration!
