Yesterday I mentioned CouponMom.com as a site I currently use for deals and coupons. In addition to getting coupons in your Sunday newspaper, there are a bunch of online resources (and several stores that have apps with their store coupons). Here are some sites for printing coupons and finding deals online:
There are SO MANY out there, so I think it’s important to find one that has good tutorials so you can understand the concept of “extreme” couponing (matching coupons and store deals to get things super cheap, maybe even free), and that approaches saving in a way that is in line with how you want to shop. As I mentioned yesterday, I don’t want to be expected to go to five stores to save money. That doesn’t work with my schedule and lifestyle, so I need to find the best savings by going to one, maybe two, stores. Maybe your household is your main commitment, and it would be possible and beneficial for you to spend a day each week hitting up several stores to take advantage of awesome deals.
CouponMom, as I’m sure many coupon bloggers do, shows how to organize your coupons and work with them when it’s time to go to the store. We no longer get a newspaper subscription and therefore don’t get the coupon circulars, so my coupons are mostly from mail or printed from the computer. I like to keep mine with me all the time, because if I don’t that will be the one time I need one.
Do you clip coupons? How do you organize yours?
