Health, fitness and nutrition is important to me and reducing chemicals in my home has been a focus for many years. As more and more information comes out about all the bad things in our food, our water, cleaning and health and beauty products, I strive to eliminate those things as much as I can. It can be overwhelming because, sadly, so much in our world (especially if you live in the US, it seems) is contaminated with things that pose great risk to make us ill, get cancer, become infertile…and the list goes on. I have found that taking baby steps and changing a little at a time is the best way to go.
February will be my one-year anniversary using Young Living essential oils and I can say that purchasing a kit and trying the oils was 100% a great idea! I use the oils to support overall wellness and all the systems of the body for myself and my daughter (hubby still isn’t quite on board with his hippie-wife’s ways but we’re getting there ;)). We use them to support immunity, help with respiratory support, seasonal support, hormonal support, energy and focus, emotional support, the monthly crabbies ;)), to calm and help sleep, digestive support, and even for prayer/meditation.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Therapeutic Thursday post and decided it was time to bring the series back! I’m getting weekly inquiries about Young Living oils and decided there was a lot of interest in them and overall health. So starting next week, I will resume this series with an intro to Young Living oils. Not every Thursday will be about oils, but they’ll probably make up many of the posts in the series because there’s a lot of information to share, people tend to have a lot of questions, and they’re just plain AMAZING!. I plan to also discuss general ways to detox your home, remove chemicals from your life and just live more naturally, healthier and happier!
In the meantime, if you have an interest in Young Living oils, please contact me (go to “contact me” on the top of the page) or post below with questions! My website link currently is down as I’ve been ordering directly for people, but I think I may be bringing it back soon. Getting started with a kit would be a great way to start off a healthy new year!
