My intention for today’s blog was to continue on the basement clean-up, but after my daycare day ended, and I spent some time with my daughter and helped her practice for dance, I was spent by the time she went to bed last night. I got nothing done. I plopped in front of the tv on the couch, trouble-shooted an iPhone issue I was having, and did little else until I headed to bed.
For those who were enjoying seeing my messy basement and the transformation I’m attempting to put it through, no worries! We have decided to throw together a garage sale for next weekend, so between getting ready for that and continuing to organize the basement, there will be plenty to share next week! In upcoming weeks I will also be sharing how I organize a garage sale and storage for toys and kids’ stuff.
So for today I thought I’d share my Goodwill find from yesterday. With only a couple weeks to work on my Ditto DIY project (see yesterday’s post for details), I thought I better get to Goodwill a.s.a.p. to find a tray. I’ll explain more about my decision process and why I didn’t try to build a tray when I do the final reveal, but I am excited to see how I can transform this tray that I found:
