I almost forgot again but managed to get the camera out of the bedroom before my nappers were too sound asleep so that I could get some pics of my new fall wreath. 😉 I started to make this with the intention that it would be used for staging for some furniture I plan to sell, but liked it so much I decided to hang onto it for at home!
This was SO EASY. I got the wreath for $1 on a garage sale and just new that somehow, someday I could use it! So glad I picked it up! The ribbon and leaf and berry sprigs were from Hobby Lobby, all on sale. I absolutely love the orange glitter leopard print ribbon, and it’s right on trend for this season!
I loosely wrapped the ribbon around the wreath and only hot glued the two ends together so it didn’t fall off. I wasn’t sure if I’d want to change things out or reuse it, so I was afraid to glue the ribbon to the wreath, but the ribbon doesn’t want to stay evenly placed, so I may have to go back and do that. Besides, I glued the leaves and berries to it!
Once the ribbon was where I wanted it, I layered the two leaf sprigs (one’s more orange and the other more red), glued them to the wreath (and each other) and added the berry sprig in the same way.
The wreath with the loosely draped ribbon sat in my living room for about a week, but this literally took me probably 5-10 minutes to put together. 😉 Little therapeutic projects like this will be my focus for my October series starting in one week!
