Last week I resumed my “Week of Bliss” series, and as I did, I expanded it to include not only a handful of highlights from my own personal week, but also to include other things I might want to share with you…interesting blog posts, a cute Etsy find, my favorite Instagram pics of the week, etc. With that I also mulled over a name change, but thought I had settled on sticking with the original until yesterday. I just like the sound of “Finding Bliss Friday” better, so that’s where I landed! And here we go!
Probably one of my biggest highlights of this past week was meeting my goal of working on the blog and Elite Blog Academy every day! This may seem like a no-brainer but it was NOT happening…not even close. I ditched the excuses, told the devil to get out of my way (God instilled a passion in me and I have some good to do!), and I got up almost every morning between 5-5:30 am to make it happen. The best morning was Saturday, the ONLY morning that I got up at 5:00 am ON THE NOSE! A SATURDAY!!! Not only was I excited, but I think my husband could see my commitment which seems to have increased his support of me with my business, which was huge. I can tell the difference on my blog by having committed to working it daily and hope you can, too!
These trees. We have several at school and I find myself admiring them while the kids play on the playground, especially with a couple beautiful weather days that we had this week! I told Brad we need to replace the overgrown bushes on the side of our house with these!
As often seems to happen when I start to achieve one goal, another goal gets pushed back. My health and fitness goals have been suffering a bit but I managed to enjoy beautiful weather earlier this week and took my dog for an interval walk/jog. It felt so good to be out in the sunshine and fresh air! As I continue with my business goals, this is the next thing I plan to crush!
Yesterday I shared some info about one of my favorite spring cleaning essential oils. As a follow-up, here is a great article about what cleaning products to avoid if you have allergies and asthma. #ditchandswitch
We’re off tomorrow to shop for an upcoming trip and then Sunday will be celebrating Easter with family. I pray that you all have a beautiful, blissful weekend!
