Last week went so well on the organizing front, and I continued pushing through last weekend to get the pantry organized. Then I was back to a full work week and…SCREECH! Progress halted. Managing a home, a blog and working full time is tough work! Sometimes, no matter how early you get up (and I’ve continued to do quite well in that department), there just isn’t enough time in the day for everything. And sometimes, the dishes have to be washed, the laundry has to be cleaned and folded, and the bills have to get paid. So the blog has to wait. (Sad face.) As it is I’m skipping my workout tonight to get caught up. My focus this month will be organizing, getting into a good daily and weekly routine, and then once that’s all established I can focus more on health and fitness in February!
I will continue on with the kitchen, though I might not get to share it here until early next week. We won’t be home much this weeked, either, so that’s not going to help matters. I’ll do my best. But in the meantime, I wanted to share this awesome infographic for you that the folks at Nowsourcing sent to me! And as we’re organizing the fridge and produce, especially, this is going to be so helpful!
As I looked this over I realized that I’m failing in a lot of food storage areas. How do you rate?? Regrowing veggies from scraps?? Uhhh…oops! I just recently started keeping scraps for making chicken stock and soups, but I’m going to try regrowing now! I’m all about fresh, healthy foods and helping out the environment…and of course saving money is also at the top of our priorities. This graphic helps all around! I know I’ll be printing a copy to put in my kitchen and hope you do, too!
