I’ve been a Mary Kay consultant for a couple years now, but because of my busy schedule with daycare, blogging and organizing, I don’t actively work that business. I love the products and have used them for over 15 years, so the discount is great and I sell to people I know. If someone wants a facial or a party I’ll be happy to do it, but it’s not something I pursue.
While most of my skin-care routine is the same as it has been for years, I have found myself adding and trying things now that I have the discount and see the new products on a regular basis. I finally had to reign it in and stop trying several colors of eye shadows and lipsticks. 😉 As I’ve always found, some colors just consistently work for me so those are the ones I keep in my cosmetic arsenal. (Side note: Did you know Mary Kay guarantees satisfaction, so if you don’t like something you can exchange or return it? Awesome company, truly.)
For a couple years I’ve organized my skin care and cosmetics with the Mary Kay Roll-Up Bag, and it worked great.
Behind the cosmetic organizer you can see the tins with lotions, etc. that I had on this shelf previously (before the make-up took over). In a sec I’ll explain my long-term plan for this cabinet that hopefully will get rid of this eye-sore. First, here’s how I have everything organized:
I have been throwing around a couple of blog additions, one being a regular (not necessarily weekly) review of Mary Kay products I love. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to see (or not)!
