Yesterday I started off a series of posts that I hope will help those of us who are busy and could benefit from some checklists and routines. I shared some inspiration and the start of my family’s Cleaning Checklist. Since then I’ve been working on my plan for a daily routine, and using Fly Lady’s daily routine as a guide, here’s what I came up with!
I’m pretty happy with it so far, but think I’ll change “schedule” to “routine” since I did not break it down by exact times, etc. (that seemed too rigid and tough to keep consistent, especially in the evenings when plans constantly change).
|Jen’s Daily & Cleaning Schedules|
Jen did a schedule for her entire family for their evening routine, and while I love the idea of having all the chores and routines in one central place, Faith already has a chore chart and at this point I don’t see Brad using a checklist. (He’s not much of a planner.) Besides that, while he often helps with housework, he always takes out the outside chores like mowing, cleaning the cars, etc., and those often depend on weather and if I’m home or not. So for now I’ll get myself into a routine!
