I participated as a vendor in our town’s first Quarter Mania, a fun auction event where 20 vendors donate 2 items each, and the guests can bid up 1-4 quarters (depending on the value of the item) for each one. Each vendor was to decorate their own guest and product display tables however they wished. I chose a Vintage Valentine theme for my table, collecting items that I already had or that I thought I could use again.
I’m on a red and aqua kick, so I went with those two colors and a pale pink. I figured there might be other Valentine tables (and there were a couple), and didn’t want to go with just red and white. Plus that allowed me to use some things I already had, and I knew that other stuff I bought could be used at home since I have these colors in my house. (I didn’t want to spend $20 or more on items just for one night!)
|Pink Champagne Cupcakes finished off the 3rd plate stand and gave my guests a sweet treat for dessert. They also contributed to the overall color scheme.|

This event was so much fun and helped raise money for the local Crisis Center for women suffering domestic violence. The 350 or so guests had a great girl’s night out and some went away with some great deals!
