My “weekly” organizing projects seem to be taking more like two or more! My energy has gradually slowed back down, not sure if because of the weather again or just being several weeks into work after Christmas break. I’m battling a cold this week, so that’s my excuse right now. 😉
Speaking of my cold, before I get into the organization updates, if you follow on Facebook you might have noticed I finally took the leap to join Young Living! I have been contemplating joining for over a year, and try to keep abreast of all the info on essential oils. I have been impressed by the quality of their process and product, and have been dying to try…and right now I could really use some oil therapy! Hopefully in the next week my kit will arrive, and I can’t wait to start diffusing! Feel free to browse the website or contact me for more info, and as I learn I’ll be likely sharing on the blog as well.
Ok, back to organizing! First, still waiting on the hubby to clear “the pile” from the basement so I can finish up and get pics down there. I’m also bringing some stuff up to a new home in the craft room/office/daycare play space, so that’s also causing the completion of that to be drug out.
This is still a work in progress so keep that in mind as you scroll through the pics. Previously these built-in shelves were 50-60% decorative and the other 40-50% storage in baskets. (Maybe less storage.) I decided to shoot primarily for function and bring up as much of my craft supplies as I could.

This is the top of our daycare toy shelf. I am using the Martha Stewart desk organizer for notebooks but also as a charging station for tablets and phones. The rectangle basket holds things that need filed.
