Yesterday the daycare girls and I celebrtated National Pink Day, which was Sunday. They all wore pink, we ate pink food all day, read Pinkalicious, and did some fun pink popsicle themed activities thanks to some inspiration from Oh Happy Day (the popsicle “toys” that she used as a garland) and I Heart Naptime (her Popsicle Scavenger Hunt). Ironically we did not have actual popsicles (daycare provider fail!). 😉
For the record, I, too, heart naptime. 😉 Unfortunately naptime has not been enough time lately to get everything done, but my evenings are about to be a bit more freed up as I move into my more permanent Jazzercise schedule. I’ll be doing a couple morning classes and only one set evening class (except for when I sub occasionally), and I’m hopeful that I’ll find I can more easily stay on top of everything as well as have more fun family time!
I have several projects in the queue, including this baker’s rack that I recently bought from a Jazzercise customer. I have plans to take it from craftsman/mission style (at least that’s what I call it) to more of a farmhouse style.
