After a full week I am finally feeling back to health, minus the lingering cough and congestion, and a little leftover fatigue. We got better just in time to enjoy some sunshine and heat yesterday (got to about 70 here!). I had the windows open and though I didn’t get to be outside with Brad and Faith, I still enjoyed the fresh air while putting groceries away and washing/prepping produce for the week. (That sounds sad but really it was so nice to just have the windows open!)
We hadn’t been to the store in close to two weeks, so I had to spend part of my nice day getting groceries (and we all napped prior to that…still recovering a bit). There’s food in the fridge again, and now that there is, I can get back to my no-sugar (anti-candida) diet that fell to the wayside around the holidays. I started pinning some new recipe ideas and feel pretty prepared to get back on track. I even put a “can eat” list in my phone so I always have it available. (Why didn’t I think of that before?)
I had hoped to feel well enough earlier in the weekend to get caught up on projects, but Friday set me back after a pretty good day Thursday, and I wasn’t quite up to par even Saturday. When I was feeling good, I had to spend it either on groceries, cleaning/disinfecting the house, or making baby shower invitations (which will be shared hopefully next week along with this baby’s story and her adorable nursery). The invitations are almost done except for some cutting and pasting, and once that’s done I can resume other projects.
And boy do I have projects! Fortunately for my budget, I have several things that I purchased last year but never got to finish, so the stuff is here…I just need some time!
As I hopped on today to write this post, I was tickled to see that My Blissful Space is now at over 102,000 page views! I’m so grateful to each and every one of you that reads my little blog. You help make my dreams possible! Thank you!
