I’m not exactly sure where my desire to simplify came from. I’m sure seeds were planted from other blogs throughout the year. And my busy schedule definitely prompted the need to simplify. Plus my husband’s complaining about “all the crap”. It’s been a gradual mental process to get here, and now the actual work begins.
And I’m certainly not alone.
I’ve often found that other bloggers post topics just as I’m thinking about the same things. They’re ready to organize their kitchen at the same time. They decide to fix up their outdoor spaces when I’m contemplating the same. And they decide to simplify their homes and their lives.
I thought I’d share the links to several blogs I follow that are embarking (or continuing) on their own path of simplification. Every one of them has great words, great advice, and slightly different plans. But I think we’re all in the same frame of mind: Less stuff, less clutter, more enjoyable lives. I know there are more, and some more specific to the topic, but that’s all I could find for now…since I failed to decide to share until they were all deleted from my inbox. At any rate, I hope you can find some inspiration for simplifying your own life from their words or mine.

On a different note…
I finally figured out the problem with my new camera that was keeping me from taking clear photos yesterday – ME. I forgot that I had switched to manual focus while playing around…therefore auto focus wouldn’t work. Genius, I know. Just glad I figured it out on my own and didn’t ask some guru for help! The good news is that since I’ve figured it out I should be able to get some photos taken for tomorrow’s post. 🙂
