We wound up with a LOT of snow the past couple of days, and with that and Faith and I still not feeling quite up to par, weekend plans just haven’t gone as I…well…planned. I have done some organizing here and there, though I feel like I have done several little things or only done other projects halfway.
Since our plan to have a play-date at a nearby drop-in craft place fell through because of the weather, I decided Faith and I would have a craft day at home and then I could work on some simple holiday decorations that I’d been wanting to finish.

I have made pennant banners with scrapbook paper for a couple different things, such as Faith’s Hello Kitty birthday party (above) and to decorate our campsite at the Relay For Life. When I saw the idea to do one for a spring decoration, I thought that would be a great idea for our home, especially since my Easter and spring decor is limited.

Normally I would make quick work of this on my Pazzles machine, but since this was a mother/daughter project, I decided to just use a paper cutter. I made a template for Faith so that she could trace and cut her own, though she opted to free-hand it most of the time. (To each his own!)
