A couple weeks ago I decided to follow suit with some of my favorite bloggers and do a week-end wrap-up, sharing great finds and simple pleasures from my week. My bestie came up with the name, “A Week of Bliss”, as we brainstormed ideas that were consistent with my blog title.
Then I forgot to start posting it! Sooooo…this week’s wrap-up will actually include items from the past few weeks.
(In reality these may not be things you find blissful at all. But this is my bliss. Go find your own!)
Ok, that sounds mean. You can share my bliss if you want to.
1. You know when you find something you desperately want to buy but just can’t justify the purchase because you aren’t sure where you’d put it…???
This is one of those things for me. I was meandering through Gordman’s a few weeks ago, and down the aisle I spotted these metal/wire baskets and had to check them out. There were two sizes: The smaller one had just one compartment (pictured here), and the other larger one had three compartments. Each has a little spot for a label (gasp!). They have that country feel that I love so much, and I really wanted them. Truth is, however, that my wall space is pretty much taken up. I may find something to take down, however, just so I can have one of them. I think they’d be great for corralling mail, used as kids’ cubbies, or even in the garage.
2. Cupcakes from a Cupcake Wars competitor!
3. Cutest. Shelf liner. Ever.
I couldn’t believe that the shelf liner arrived within just a couple days! Very happy with DormCo right now!
4. Delicious and healthy hot chocolate
Note: Katie had a blog makeover this week and it looks great!
5. Love Ebates!
Just added this quickly this morning as I received a check for almost $30 from Ebates yesterday and wanted to share! Ebates is a site where you can sign up, get a FREE $10 gift card to a store of your choice (I chose Target when I signed up), then you earn cash back when you shop online at participating stores! There are a LOT on there. Of the ones I often use, Target, Old Navy and Container Store are included, just to name a few! I have installed the Ebates toolbar so that I don’t forget (because without it you likely will), then when I’m on a participating store’s website, the toolbar highlights and tells me to “Activate Cash Back” (which I happily do!). Every few months you get a check in the mail, just for shopping at stores you would have shopped at anyway! Join me on Ebates by clicking the link below:
