If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you likely saw that we got my sister married off! The weather was beautiful, Lisa and Dean are clearly in love, and I am so happy for my sister! In addition to being matron-of-honor I had quite a few extra duties (making programs, cupcakes, etc.) and our entire family was in the wedding (Brad, Faith and myself), so I’ve had to shift a lot of my attention to that and put some of my stuff on the back-burner (which I’d do for my sister again in a heartbeat). But I”m glad to check those things off the list and move onto establishing a routine and getting organized around here!

It has always been difficult for me to maintain that daily writing schedule, and last year I almost didn’t do it at all. I wasn’t planning to this year, either, but I love having the extra motivation and accountability to work towards a goal. It’s going to be tough some days, and I may have some days where I post a few times to make up for lost days, but I’m going to try and post 31 times in October. My topic this year will be…

This was a pretty last-minute plan, so I’m going to work hard this week to get my button created and get everything ready to go for October 1! Be sure to subscribe to my blog posts so that you don’t miss a day!
