I’ve had several projects in the queue for a long time and today feel like I’m starting to catch up on life in general and getting the much-needed kick-in-the-pants to get to those projects, too. The sun’s shining and though it’s not “warm” out, it sure feels nicer than the cold and (briefly) snowy day we had yesterday! I managed to get my oil changed (about two weeks overdue), filled the car with gas (it’s the little things!), picked up a prescription and reserved the last available community garden plot this morning, all in the course of an hour. I’m really excited for the garden. Ever since we put up our dog kennel by the garage (in our former garden spot), we haven’t had a great location to do a garden. Brad recently made an herb pallet garden which I’ll share at some point, and I’d like to do tomatoes on the deck where they’re also easily accessible, but this garden plot will allow us to grow more. I plan to get Faith and the daycare kids involved, too, so that should be a fun summer project!
The frames I made at the Michaels Pinterest Party have been on the backburner, but I made a little headway with those as well, adding monograms to the rest of the frames and gluing the dowels in the back (they kept falling out every time I moved the frames to dust and it was driving me crazy). I’ve had the photos for a couple weeks. The only thing left is to find clips that will work on the backside to hold the photos. I have a couple ideas – now to just find what I have in mind!
I’ve also got a DIY toothbrush holder project lined up, and more immediately will be doing some DIY dyed napkins that I’m really excited about, and some more things for an upcoming baby shower that I’m hosting.
As always, so many projects, so little time! Tonight our Coffee & Crop group meets, and I could technically take some of these things there (maybe not the napkins), but my intention was to start devoting that time for my Project Life albums, and since it’s all bagged up and ready to go, that’s what I’ll be doing! There’s always tomorrow… 🙂
